Managed vServer possible
Managed vServers are the stress-free choice for deploying Linux virtual servers. They offer comprehensive support, including server maintenance, security updates and configuration by our experts. This is an efficient solution for small businesses or individuals without extensive Linux or server administrator knowledge to run their own Linux virtual server. Continuous monitoring and fast troubleshooting guarantee constant availability and high security of your Managed vServer (VPS).
Root server or vServer - which is the best option?
A root server, also known as a dedicated server, belongs exclusively to a single user and offers dedicated hardware resources such as CPU, RAM and storage space. A root server allows complete administrative control over the server configuration and is scalable.
In contrast, vServers are virtual machines that share all resources such as CPU, RAM and storage space with all other users. Control over the server configuration is therefore more limited than with a root server. Due to virtualization, vServers are generally less expensive and less powerful than root servers.
The choice between a root server and a vServer depends on the specific requirements and budget considerations. For compute-intensive projects that do not require dedicated hardware, we recommend vGPU.
