Senior Network Automation Engineer (m/f/d)

#PROFILE
- You and your team are responsible for the further development of our global network, consisting of over 100 locations worldwide
- You work independently and according to your preferences on a project basis on the development, improvement, and future-proofing of the various components of our network stack:
- Core network
- Automation workflows
- Network-related services (e.g. DDoS mitigation, RPKI)
- Monitoring and alerting
- You define and document standards for network setups or workflows
- You are the contact person for complex tasks or troubleshooting
- You work closely with a team of network architects, network and software engineers
#WANTED
- Solid and proven network expertise as well as several years of professional experience in the service provider environment
- Understanding complex network topologies and technical relationships beyond the boundaries of your own area of expertise (compute, storage, etc.) is easy for you
- Automation, its design, and implementation are your thing
- Knowledge of the feature set and troubleshooting capabilities on network platforms from Juniper, Arista, Cisco, etc.
- Experience with routing (BGP, ISIS), control plane (RSVP, EVPN), and related data plane technologies (legacy IP, IPv6, MPLS, VXLAN)
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Go, Ansible and git
- Experience in using Linux system tools and common monitoring tools
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
